Car Rental Notice & Disclaimer

1. 【certificate and Deposit】
-All daily rentals require the renter to have a compliant driver’s license class, a copy of which will be retained. Deposits will vary by car type, ranging from 2,000-10,000 deposits, most of which will be refunded on return of the car, with the 500 deposit automatically refunded to the original method of payment within 10 days (for ticket deposits).
2. 【Rental Fee and Mileage Limit】
– The rental fee includes a total mileage of 120 kilometers will be charged at $3 per kilometer.
3. 【Fuel Level Requirement:】
– The fuel level at the time of pickup must be equal to or higher than the fuel level at the time of return. If the
renter does not refuel, a fuel charge will be assessed based on the current market fuel price.
4. 【Delivery and Pickup Services】
– For rentals within a week, no delivery or pickup services are provided. Renters must pick up and return the
vehicle at the designated location. If delivery or pickup services are required, additional service fees apply,
please consult customer service for details. For rentals of one week or more, a free one-time delivery/pickup
service within 10 kilometers of Toronto is provided. Additional fees apply for longer distances.
5. 【Vehicle Cleanliness and Odor】
– During the rental period, please keep the interior and exterior of the vehicle clean and free of odors. If the
vehicle is returned with dirt, trash, vomit, etc., the renter will be responsible for cleaning fees ranging from
$50 to $500, depending on the extent of cleaning required. Inflation and leaf blowing inside the car are strictly
prohibited. Smoking is prohibited in some vehicle models (no smoking signs will be provided)
6. 【Toll Fees】
– During the rental period, any toll fees (e.g.407) incurred are the responsibility of the renter, including the
photo fee of $10 per entry/exit plus the relevant toll charges.
7. 【Parking Tickets and Fines】
– If parking tickets or fines are incurred during the rental period, the renter must inform the platform’s customer
service and pay the corresponding fine amount. If the renter fails to notify promptly for any reason, additional
fines, late fees, and processing fees will be the responsibility of the renter.
8. 【Accidents and Damage】
– In case of any accidents, collisions, or damage to the vehicle during the rental period, the renter must pay the
full cost of repairs, take full responsibility for maintenance, and pay compensation for loss based on the
duration of the repairs and any downtime costs. If the situation is severe, the renter must also cover the
deductible of $5000 and the accelerated depreciation of the vehicle due to the accident.
9. 【Speeding and Dangerous Driving】
– If the renter is pulled over for speeding or engages in dangerous driving during the rental period, resulting in
towing fees, parking fees, etc., the renter is responsible for all costs incurred, including compensation for the
time lost as downtime fees.

10. 【Advance Reservations】
– For all advance reservations, regardless of the rental duration, a small deposit is required to secure the
selected vehicle to ensure its availability on the chosen date and time. The deposit will be deducted from the
rental fee at the time of pickup.
11. 【Rental Period Extension】
– If the renter needs to extend the rental period, please notify platform customer service promptly, obtain
permission, and pay the corresponding additional rental fee before the originally scheduled return time.
12. 【Emergencies】
– In case of emergencies during the rental period, such as being pulled over by the police, towing, collisions, or
traffic accidents, please immediately inform platform customer service or call the emergency contact provided
to understand the specific situation and determine a solution.
13. 【Prohibited Actions】
– During the rental period, all intentional actions that may cause damage to the vehicle are strictly prohibited,
including aggressive driving behaviors such as racing, drifting, burning rubber in place, off-roading on non-
paved surfaces, etc. Once discovered, any resulting losses will be the responsibility of the renter, and
appropriate compensation will apply. This includes any illegal activities involving the vehicle.
14. 【Mileage and Late Returns】
– Regarding mileage and late returns: For additional allowable mileage, long-term renters should inform the
platform at least 24 hours before the return, and different excess mileage penalties will apply based on
whether the notification is made before or after the return. For short-term renters, excess mileage penalties are
payable at the end of the rental. The return time should be consistent with the pickup time or earlier. In the
event of late returns, the renter must pay a late fee ranging from $20 to $50 per hour (specific late fees depend
on the vehicle’s price).
15. 【Use and Safeguarding of Items】
– Please use and safeguard any items already present in the vehicle at the time of handover, such as car
fragrances, phone charging cables, phone holders, etc. If any loss or damage occurs, the renter is responsible
for the corresponding compensation.
